It's Fashion Week in Paris where the likes of Valentino, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Giorgio Armani fill the runways with fashions that excite the senses and drain the pocketbooks. It is the place to be in the world of haute couture but perhaps not the only place. Just in case you didn't here, there was a much closer location to find fashions that equally excited the senses and definitely did not drain your pocketbook.
Peachland United Church hosted a Fashion Show produced by the talented and very fashionable staff of the Bargain Bin on Saturday, April 6. Doors opened at 12.30 and the action started at 1pm in our totally upfashioned church.
Preparations and decorations were in hand with models (guess who) eager to display their outfits on a regal, red carpeted stage. Admission was by donation – refreshments for all plus raffle.
We made a fashion statement and it was the fun event of our emerging Spring.
